Chapter 3: The Doctor’s:

Rachel sighed as George was driving to the hospital. She had a doctor’s appointment. She was going to be told how far along she was. Rachel giggled and George kissed her.

They walked into the hospital and George signed her in. He sat down beside Rachel and kissed her on her cheek. “Rachie...I hope we have twins.” He whispered and Rachel giggled “I dunno… Georgie, I hope we have twins though.”

Rachel smiled and the nurse called her name. George followed Rachel and the nurse took them back to a room.  The nurse quickly checked Rachel out and she left the room. The doctor came back a few minutes later.

Rachel smiled as the doctor checked her out. “You look about two months in.” she smiled and Rachel giggled “Good! Do you think the baby is healthy?” “Yes, I believe the baby is. Make sure you don’t drink alcoholic drinks and no smoking cigarettes.”

Rachel nodded and George smiled. The doctor smiled “You’ll be able to go to school until you’re four months pregnant. So I’ll make sure to write the school’s secretaries to tell all the teachers that you have.”  Rachel nodded “Is that all?” “Yes, it is. Now I talked with your mother, so you’ll have a monthly appointment.”

“Okay.” Rachel said as they were leaving. Then the doctor excused them and George and Rachel left.

“So ye’re two months, love?” George asked as they were going home. “Yep, Georgie!” Rachel smiled and George pecked her on the lips. Rachel brushed and George chuckled and drove off.
